POCO C61 Launching on March 26 in India; Radiant Ring Design and 90Hz Display Confirmed

POCO is all set to debut the POCO C61 smartphone in India. The brand took to its official social media handle to confirm the arrival of the upcoming smartphone.

The POCO C61 will be launching on March 26 in the country. A dedicated microsite for the upcoming POCO phone has also gone live on Flipkart, confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform.

POCO C61 Launch on March 26: What to Expect?

The POCO C61 will come in a black colour option. As per the Flipkart listing, the upcoming POCO phone will come with a radiant ring design which houses a circular camera module. There will be a dual camera setup at the rear panel led by an LED flash.

The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a 90Hz HD+ display. The POCO C61 will come with 6GB RAM (6GB virtual RAM) and will pack a 5,000 mAh battery unit. Apart from this, Flipkart's listing did not disclose any other details.

However, the handset was earlier spotted on the Google Play Console database listing, revealing the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The upcoming POCO C61 is also speculated to be the rebranded version of the Redmi A3, which was launched last month in India.

If it turns out to be true, the POCO C61 might have a 6.71-inch HD+ (1650 x 720 pixels) LCD panel and a waterdrop-style notch to house a 5MP selfie camera. There could be an 8MP primary camera at the rear panel.

Other features are expected to include 10W charging, Android 14 OS, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
