Poco could launch the Poco F5 5G as early as next month. The midrange Android smartphone could be the first Android smartphone to launch in India with the just-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.

A new Poco smartphone bearing model number 23013PC75I has been spotted. The device is tipped to ship with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, 12GB RAM, and a new Snapdragon 7XX series SoC. Let's look at the mystery Poco Android smartphone which could be the Poco F5 5G for the Indian market.

Poco F5 5G Rumored Specifications, Features

Poco India Head Himanshu Tandon had previously confirmed the existence of the Poco F5. His recent tweets also implied the POCO F5 will launch in India.

Poco hasn't officially confirmed the Poco F5 series yet. However, it appears the lineup will include the Poco F5 5G and the Poco F5 Pro 5G.

The Pro variant of the smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset. The Poco F5 5G is rumored to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. It features a prime core with a maximum clock speed of 2.91GHz.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 can support up to three 32MP sensors in a triple-camera setup or a single 200MP camera. The chipset packs the Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF system with peak download speeds of up to 4.4Gbps. It supports Dual-SIM Dual Active (DSDA) with support for both 5G and 4G.

The Poco F5 5G is tipped to feature a 6.67-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. The 2K screen is rumored to offer a peak brightness of 1400 nits and HDR10+ support.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 powering the Poco F5 5G should be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Buyers would get to choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.

The Poco F5 5G should feature a triple camera setup on the back, presumably headlined by a 50MP primary camera. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro lens would accompany it. There could be a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Some reports suggest Poco is packing a larger 5,500mAh battery inside the Poco F5 5G. It is tipped to support 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
