Poco F6 5G Launch Date in India Confirmed: Poco F6 Pro will Make Global Debut Simultaneously

Poco is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in India next week. The Poco F6 5G is set to make its debut in the country next week and has already been teased on Flipkart.

Flipkart has also set up a microsite for the upcoming Poco F6 5G, which reveals the camera layout and back panel design. Moreover, the back panel design confirms rumors that the Poco F6 5G will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3, which was unveiled in China last month.

Poco F6 5G India, Global Launch Date

The Poco F6 5G launch date in India is set for May 23 at 04:30 pm IST. Following its launch in the country, the Poco F6 5G will go on sale through Flipkart. Moreover, the Poco F6 series global launch event will be held simultaneously in Dubai, where the brand will unveil the vanilla Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro.

However, we are unlikely to see the Poco F6 Pro make its debut in India. The event can be streamed live through Poco's social media handles and the official global website. Since the Poco F6 5G will debut as a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, its specifications are already well known.

Redmi Turbo 3 Specifications

The Redmi Turbo 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712 x1220 pixels) AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,400 nits.

The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1920Hz high frequency PWM dimming. The Redmi Turbo 3 also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support.

For optics, Xiaomi's latest mid-range smartphone features a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with an f/1.59 aperture and OIS. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens. Up front, the Redmi Turbo 3 opts for a 20 MP selfie camera.

The Redmi Turbo 3 packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It also features an under-display fingerprint reader and a 4800mm2 cooling system. We believe, the Poco F6 5G price in India will fall in the sub-30K segment. The handset was teased in the Ice Titanium shade on Flipkart.
