Redmi Turbo 3 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 1.5K OLED Display, 90W Charging Launched

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Turbo 3 in China. The Redmi Turbo 3 debuts as the second smartphone from the brand to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, following the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

Apart from the Snapdragon chip, the Redmi Turbo 3 also arrives with a large battery, fast charging support, an AMOLED display, HyperOS, and a dual-rear camera setup. According to previous reporting, the Redmi Turbo 3 will make its global debut as the Poco F6 5G.

Redmi Turbo 3 Pricing, Availability

The Redmi Turbo 3 price in China starts from CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 23,500) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the phone also comes in 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB models that will set you back CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,000), CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,350), and CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs 32,900), respectively.

The Redmi Turbo 3 comes in Blue Blade, Mo Jing (Black), and Ice Titanium color options. Moreover, the Redmi Turbo 3 also comes in a limited-edition Harry Potter variant. The Redmi Turbo 3 will go on sale in China on April 15.

Redmi Turbo 3 Specifications

The Redmi Turbo 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712 x1220 pixels) AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,400 nits.

The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1920Hz high frequency PWM dimming. The Redmi Turbo 3 also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support.

For optics, Xiaomi's latest mid-range smartphone features a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with an f/1.59 aperture and OIS. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens. Up front, the Redmi Turbo 3 opts for a 20 MP selfie camera. The Redmi Turbo 3 packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

It also features an under-display fingerprint reader and a 4800mm2 cooling system. The handset also comes with the Xiaomi Pascal OS AI subsystem. The Redmi Turbo 3 weighs 179 grams and measures 7.8mm thick. Connectivity options on the device include 4G, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, Beidou, GLONASS, and more.
