Poco M6 Pro 4G Launched Globally with MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra SoC, 120Hz AMOLED Display

The Poco M6 Pro 4G was recently unveiled globally. The launch came simultaneously with the arrival of the Poco X6 series, which also made its way to India. It is worth noting that the brand has unveiled 5G versions of the both the Poco M6 and M6 Pro in India.

However, the Poco M6 Pro 4G offers a little more in terms of specifications. The phone's key highlights include an AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup with OIS support, and super-fast charging support.

The 4G version of the Poco M6 Pro costs $179 (roughly Rs 14,900) for the base 8GB/256GB model. Moreover, the 12GB/512GB variant of the Poco M6 Pro 4G is priced at $229 (roughly Rs 19,000). Poco has yet to announce the global availability of the M6 Pro 4G.

The Poco M6 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phones come in two configurations - 8GB/256GB (LPDDR4X/UFS 2.2) and 12GB/512GB (LPDDR4X/UFS 2.2). The Poco M6 Pro also features virtual RAM expansion as well as a microSD card slot.

The Poco M6 Pro 4G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a pixel density of 394 PPI. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and an instant touch sampling rate of 2160Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and boasts a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The phone also packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Poco's budget 4G smartphone boasts a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS support, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, it features a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The Poco M6 Pro 4G packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It also runs Android 13 out of the box with the MIUI 14 skin for Poco on top.
