Poco X6 Series Launched in India's Competitive Mid-Range Segment: Check Price, Specs, Offers

The Poco X6 series has officially been unveiled in India. The line-up includes the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro. The Poco X6 Pro will introduce the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset globally.

Moreover, it is a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E that was unveiled in China back in December 2023. The Poco X6 series will also be the first smartphones in India to run on Xiaomi's HyperOS out of the box, replacing the renowned MIUI.

The Poco X6 Pro price in India starts from Rs 24,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. Additionally, the Poco X6 Pro will also be offered in a 12GB/512GB configuration that will set you back Rs 26,999, respectively.

The Poco X6 5G price in India starts from Rs 19,999 for the base 8GB/256GB variant. Additionally, the Poco X6 will also be offered in a 12GB/512GB configuration that will set you back Rs 22,999, whereas a 12GB/256GB model will be available in February for Rs 21,999.

The Poco X6 comes in Mirror Black and Snowstorm White shades, while the Poco X6 Pro arrives in Spectre Black, Racing Grey, and Poco Yellow (Vegan Leather Finish) color options. The Poco X6 series will be available for pre-booking starting today at 08:00 pm (IST). The Poco X6 series will go on sale in India from January 16, at 12 noon via Flipkart.

It is worth noting that customers can get an additional Rs 2,000 bank discount you get using ICICI Bank credit and debit cards. You can also opt for an extra value exchange bonus of Rs 2,000 on the purchase of the Poco X6 series if you don't have an ICICI Bank card.

Poco X6 Pro 5G Specifications

The Poco X6 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also features a 5,000mm² stainless steel vapor chamber. The Poco X6 Pro runs Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.

For optics, the Poco X6 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS support. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro unit. Like its more premium counterparts, the device- is equipped with dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Poco X6 Pro sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Up front, Poco X6 Pro also opts for a 16 MP selfie camera and Gorilla Glass Victus screen protection. The handset packs a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging.

The Poco X6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Moreover, up to 8GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM. The Poco X6 5G packs a 5,100 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The Poco X6 sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The panel also features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It also boasts dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For optics, Poco's mid-range smartphone features a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS support, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the device opts for a 16 MP selfie camera. Unfortunately, the Poco X6 5G runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. Poco promises three years of major OS updates and four years of security updates with the X6 series.
