Poco is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in its X series in India next week. The Poco X6 series was recently teased to arrive in India but has now got an official launch date in the country.

The Poco X6 series is expected to include the Poco X6 5G and Poco X6 Pro 5G. As of now, details about the Poco X6 series are still under wraps, although the brand has revealed some information on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Poco X6 series launch date in India is set to take place on January 11, 2024. As of now, Poco is yet to confirm details about the X6 series, although the 'Pro' model will use the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC, same as the Redmi K70E. Tipster Mukul Sharma recently leaked the specs of the Poco X6 Pro 5G.

According to the tipster, the Poco X6 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset. The handset is expected to sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Poco X6 Pro 5G is tipped to run Android 13-based MIUI for Poco as opposed to Android 14. For optics, the Poco X6 Pro 5G could opt for a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit.

Up front, the Poco X6 will opt for a 16 MP selfie camera. The phone could also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The Poco X6 Pro 5G price in India will fall in the country's sub-30K segment.

The Poco X6 5G has been tipped to use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is expected to feature the same display and camera specifications as its 'Pro' counterpart.
