POCO fans have something to look forward to as the company prepares to launch the POCO X7 series in India on January 9 at 5:30 PM IST. The new lineup, including the POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro, is set to build on the success of the X6 series with refreshed designs, upgraded hardware, and exciting features. Fresh Designs, Clear Differences

POCO has teased the designs for both models on their respective microsites on Flipkart, and they bring some noticeable differences. The POCO X7 Pro has a clean and minimalist vertical dual-camera setup housed in an oblong module, while the standard POCO X7 opts for a squircle camera island that holds three lenses. Both models are expected to feature a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), promising better low-light performance and steadier shots.

The Pro model stands out with its flat sides and screen, giving it a sleek, modern look, while the standard X7 offers curved edges for a more comfortable grip. Up front, both phones feature a centered punch-hole display, maintaining a uniform design language across the series.

POCO has showcased both phones in their signature yellow-and-black colorway, staying true to the brand's bold aesthetic. In addition to this iconic option, the POCO X7 Pro will reportedly be available in black and green variants, while the standard POCO X7 will come in green and purple shades alongside the signature yellow.

Under the hood, the POCO X7 Pro is rumored to sport the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, making it a performance powerhouse for gaming and multitasking. Meanwhile, the standard POCO X7 will likely feature the Dimensity 7300 Ultra, offering solid midrange performance.

Battery life is another area where the two models differ. The Pro could pack a hefty 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, ensuring you spend less time plugged in. The standard X7 is expected to come with a 5,110 mAh battery and 45W charging-still impressive for a midrange device.
