POCO is preparing to unveil new smartphones in its X series in India and globally soon. The POCO X8 Pro series has started popping up online ahead of MWC 2026. More lately, the POCO X8 Pro was spotted online on Geekbench, revealing key specifications of the device.

Moreover, recent leaks have also provided pricing information about the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max in Europe. The POCO X8 Pro series is also expected to be debut as rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 series that was unveiled in China last month.

Poco X8 Pro Key Specifications (Global Variant, Anticipated)

The POCO X8 Pro has surfaced online ahead of its expected global launch, with the device recently spotted on Geekbench. Listed under the model number Xiaomi 2511FPC34G, the presence of the "G" suffix suggests this is likely the global variant of the smartphone. The benchmark results reveal a single-core score of 1,708 and a multi-core score of 6,297, offering an early look at its performance capabilities.

According to the Geekbench listing, the POCO X8 Pro appears to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset, featuring four cores clocked at 2.20GHz, three cores at 3.20GHz, and a prime core running at 3.40GHz. The device is also listed with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, indicating that it could be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC. The tested prototype reportedly packs 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16, likely layered with HyperOS 3.

The POCO X8 Pro is widely expected to arrive as a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5, which was launched in China earlier this year. The Chinese model features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 20-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a large 7,560mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging, specifications that could make their way to the global POCO variant as well.

In terms of launch timeline, the POCO X8 Pro is tipped to debut in March, alongside a POCO X8 Pro Max variant. Recent leaks suggest European pricing could start at EUR 399 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration, with higher variants priced at EUR 449 for 8GB + 512GB and EUR 479 for 12GB + 512GB. The handset is expected to be offered in black, white, and green colour options.
