POCO X8 Pro Series Prices Revealed Ahead of Global Launch: Will Debut as Rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 Series

Xiaomi appears to have accidentally revealed European prices for the upcoming Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max on its Belgian website, indicating that the mid-range phones aim at strong value, with the Poco X8 Pro starting at €399 and the Poco X8 Pro Max positioned as the higher-priced option.

The listings on Xiaomi Belgien, obtained via Notebookcheck, show several Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max variants with different RAM and storage combinations, but Xiaomi has not yet issued any formal launch announcement, leaving the exact sales date for both models in Europe, and other markets such as India, still unknown.

Poco X8 Pro Series Price and Variants

According to the Belgian site, the Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max will launch in five memory options, with three versions for the Poco X8 Pro and two for the Poco X8 Pro Max, as detailed in the table below based on the published prices in euros.

Poco X8 Pro Series Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, while featuring a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of 3,200 nits for smoother visuals and brighter highlights.

Camera hardware on the Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro is said to centre on a 50MP main sensor with f/1.5 aperture and 1/1.95-inch size, supported by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, while a 20MP f/2.2 front camera is expected to handle selfies, with the same overall camera setup also planned for the Poco X8 Pro Max.

The Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max will reportedly step up to a larger 6.83-inch display and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, a chip that is expected to deliver performance close to flagship phones, while sharing the same rear and front cameras as the regular Poco X8 Pro model.

Battery capacities for the European Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max are rumoured to be slightly reduced compared with Chinese counterparts, yet still sizeable at around 6,500 mAh for the Poco X8 Pro and 8,500 mAh for the Poco X8 Pro Max, suggesting long usage between charges despite the reported downgrade.

Even though the European pricing of the Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max climbs well above China, where the closely related Redmi Turbo 5 Max reportedly costs about €265, the leaked Belgian information suggests Xiaomi is pitching both Poco models as mid-range devices that balance higher European prices against strong specifications while the launch timeline remains undisclosed.
