The POCO X8 Pro series is set to make its debut in India and globally later today. While POCO is saving many details for the show, the company has already confirmed some core hardware of the X8 Pro series.

The line-up includes the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max. Poco is also planning a themed version within the Poco X8 Pro series. The POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max are also expected to debut as rebranded versions of Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max, respectively.

POCO X8 Pro Series Pricing (Expected)

The POCO X8 Pro price in India could start from under Rs 35,000. On the other hand, the POCO X8 Pro Max price in India is expected to start from under Rs 45,000, where it will compete with the likes of the iQOO 15R and OnePlus 15R.

The prices will mark a substantial hike over the POCO X7 series, which fetched a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the vanilla model and Rs 24,999 for the 'Pro' version.

POCO X8 Pro Series Specifications

The Poco X8 Pro Max runs on the Dimensity 9500s chipset and includes an 8,500mAh battery. The Poco X8 Pro instead uses the Dimensity 8500-Ultra and a 6,500mAh battery pack.

Charging features remain closely aligned across the Poco X8 Pro series. Both smartphones support 100W HyperCharge fast charging, according to Poco. The Poco X8 Pro Max gains one extra feature, with support for 27W reverse charging, allowing the phone to top up other devices.

Leaked specifications shared online suggest that both POCO X8 Pro series phones will focus on high refresh rate displays. The POCO X8 Pro could carry a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The POCO X8 Pro Max is tipped to offer a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED screen, also running at 120Hz.

Camera hardware also appears in the leaks for the POCO X8 Pro series. POCO X8 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, the leak mentions a 20MP selfie camera. The device may also carry an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The POCO X8 Pro Max, according to the same information, could use a 50MP Light Fusion 600 main camera with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. A 20MP front camera is again mentioned. An IP68/IP69 rating is also tipped for this model.

The POCO X8 Pro Max has been shown in black and carries a similar pill-shaped camera island with two sensors. The module also stands a little above the back surface, with a dual LED flash located next to the cameras. For the POCO X8 Pro, leaks further mention a Dynamic Ring featuring multicoloured LEDs, suggesting an added visual element on the body.
