Price Cut Alert: Xiaomi Mi 5 Now Available at Rs 22,999

As per the latest news from Xiaomi, Mi India has announced a permanent price slash for Mi 5 that will be effective August 23, 2016. Meanwhile, all the three colors -- White, Black, and Gold variant of Mi 5 will be
available for Rs. 22,999 exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com

Initially, this smartphone was announced at an event during MWC 2016 China, earlier this year. In terms of specifications, the Mi 5 comes with a 5.15-inch Full HD display with curved glass and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood with Adreno 530 GPU.

Moving, this smartphone comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM with no expansion slot on board. This dual SIM smartphone comes with 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and 4MP front camera, with 2um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens.

This smartphone is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on MIUI 7 out of the box. Also, the next update for MIUI will be rolled out starting from today as well. Further, this smartphone measures
144.55×69.2×7.25mm and weighs around 129 grams.
