Realme 16 5G Retail Box Surfaces Online Ahead of Launch: Check Specs and India Launch Timeline
Realme’s next 5G phone seems to be getting ready for India.

After launching in Vietnam, the Realme 16 5G has now been spotted on India’s BIS certification database, which usually points to an upcoming launch. Around the same time, a retail box image of the Indian unit has surfaced online, revealing several key details.
Retail Box Confirms Core Specs
The leaked box image, shared by X user @LoserAnant, gives a fairly clear look at what the phone might offer.
It confirms that the Realme 16 5G will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset. On the camera side, the phone is listed with a 50MP Sony IMX852 rear camera and a 50MP front-facing camera.
The display is also highlighted, with a 120Hz AMOLED panel and peak brightness going up to 4200 nits.
Battery seems to be one of the main focus areas. The box mentions a 7000mAh “Titan” battery, which suggests the phone is being positioned around long usage.
Other details include IP69-rated dust and water resistance, an “Air Black” color option, and an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage configuration.
What Else We Know So Far
The specifications shown on the box line up with the variant that has already launched in Vietnam. That version includes a secondary camera, expandable storage support, and runs on realme UI 7.0.
It also features a vapor chamber cooling system and supports fast charging.
