Realme C55 With Mini Capsule Feature Officially Launching in India on March 21st
After briefly teasing the smartphone via an exclusive event live on its official website, Realme will officially launch its budget-friendly C55 smartphone in India on March 21, 2023.

Realme confirmed the launch of the C55 for March 21st at 12:30 p.m. IST via media invites.

Earlier, the Chinese company posted a poster of the smartphone with the hashtag "coming soon" on its Twitter account.
The smartphone has already been released in Indonesia, but it is unclear whether the Indian variant will differ from the Indonesian variant.
Realme C55: Specifications
Since the smartphone has already been launched in Indonesia, we've got a good idea of what to expect. The Realme C55 has a 6.52-inch, 90Hz LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 680 nits.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card. A virtual RAM feature is also available to boost performance. In terms of optics, the phone has a dual-camera system with a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor, both of which are combined with an LED flash. The front of the phone houses an 8MP selfie camera.
The device has a large 5,000mAh battery and supports wired charging via 33W SuperVOOC.
Out of the box, the smartphone runs RealmeUI 4.0 on Android 13.
The phone has 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB-C port for connectivity.
For added security, a fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side.

The hallmark feature of the phone is an iPhone-like Dynamic Island which the company calls "Mini Capsule." It displays incoming alerts, battery status (full, low, charging), data usage, steps taken, and distance traveled.
Realme C55: Expected Price
The Realme C55 costs RP 2,499,000 (roughly ₹13,000) in Indonesia for the 6/128GB variant and RP 2,999,000 (roughly ₹16,000) for the 8/256GB variant.
