Realme C55 With Mini Capsule Feature Officially Teased to Launch in India Soon
The Realme C series is quite popular in India. Billed as an entry-level Android smartphone, the Realme C35 was a successful offering from the company. The Chinese brand is now gearing up to launch its successor, the Realme C55, in India.
The Realme C55 was also launched in Indonesia recently. The smartphone's claim to fame is an interactive display notch similar to Apple's Dynamic Island, seen on the iPhone 14 Pro and the 14 Pro Max. The company calls it the Mini Capsule that makes good use of the punch-hole cutout in the display.

Realme is now teasing the launch of the Realme C55 in India. The company shared a teaser on Twitter without revealing many details.
Realme C55 India Launch Officially Teased
Realme India is teasing the launch of the Realme C55 through an exclusive event live on its official website. It shared a teaser poster on Twitter, with the caption "Entertainment ka Champion" and a coming soon tag. Reports claim Realme will launch the device by the end of March.
Realme C55: Specifications and Features
The Realme C55 was recently launched in Indonesia, giving us a good idea of what to expect. The smartphone has a 6.52-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 680 nits brightness. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. It also includes the Mini Capsule feature, a copy of Apple's Dynamic Island, a first for an Android phone.
The Realme C55 runs on the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB internal storage. There's also virtual RAM to aid performance with expandable storage through a microSD card slot.
The smartphone runs on RealmeUI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
As for the optics, the Realme C55 features a dual camera stack with a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor combined with an LED flash. On the front is an 8MP camera for selfies.
The Realme C55 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Realme C55: Expected Price
While its price in India has not been revealed, the Realme C55 is priced at Rp 2,499,000 (roughly ₹13,000) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage base variant, while the higher 8GB+256GB variant costs Rp 2,999,000 (roughly ₹16,000).
