Realme GT 3 Launched: Check Specs, Features, And Price Of Gaming Android Smartphone

Realme’s much-awaited Android smartphone, the Realme GT 3, is finally here. Launched at the ongoing MWC 2023, the Realme GT 3 is a smartphone for hard-core mobile gamers.

Realme demonstrated the Realme GT 3’s 240W charging technology, touted as the fastest in the industry, much ahead of the launch. But with a customizable RGB lighting system called Pulse Interface, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, and up to 1TB of storage space, the GT 3 is a smartphone to reckon with.

Realme GT 3 Specifications, Features

The Realme GT 3 features a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 2772 x 1240 pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has a peak brightness of 1100 nits.

The display has a punch-hole notch with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. There is also an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The latest Realme smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with an integrated Adreno 730 GPU. The smartphone also comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The Realme GT 3 has a triple camera setup at the back, headlined by a 50MP primary Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS support. There's also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP microscope camera, and an LED flash.

The Realme GT 3 has a 4,600mAh battery with 240W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Realme claims the smartphone can charge from 0 to 50 percent in less than 5 minutes. The smartphone can charge fully in less than 20 minutes.

To protect the phone's battery from overheating during gaming, Realme has included a 6580 sq. mm VC liquid cooling system in the device. In total, the device comes with an 8-component cooling solution which includes a large vapor chamber and multi-layer graphite system for heat dissipation.

Other notable features of the Realme GT 3 include an X-axis linear motor and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Pulse Interface Design (offers visual indicators, such as alerts for missed calls and battery charging), a dedicated display chipset, Tactile Engine, GT mode 4.0, and Intelligent Infrared Remote Control.

Price, Availability In India

The Realme GT 3 is available in Pulse White, Booster Black, and Purple color options. Realme has offered five storage configurations for this device:

• 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage
• 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage
• 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage
• 16GB RAM + 512GB internal storage
• 16GB RAM + 1TB internal storage

The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs $649 (approx. ₹53,700). While Realme has not disclosed the prices of other variants, it will likely announce their prices soon.

Realme has been teasing the launch of the Realme GT 3 in India for some time, so while the exact date is unknown, it’s likely to be in the next quarter.
