Realme GT 6 Confirmed to Launch on June 20 in India; 50MP Triple Cameras and 100W Charging Tipped

Realme is gearing up to launch the GT 6 globally including India. The brand took to its official social media handle to confirm the phone will be arriving on June 20. Following the launch the handset will go on sale via Flipkart in the country, where a dedicated microsite has gone live.

The upcoming Realme GT 6 is believed to be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6, unveiled in China in April. However, Realme might utilise a different set of cameras for the GT 6, as per the latest development. Let's look at the expected features and pricing of the Realme GT 6.

Realme GT 6 Features We Know So Far

Starting with the camera, the Realme GT 6 is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera with 2x zoom. For selfies, there will be a 32MP selfie camera as the Realme GT Neo 6.

On the software front, the Realme GT 6 will come with Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and is likely to offer three years of OS updates and four years of security updates. The device will also pack a 5500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging.

Moreover, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Other features will include an IP65 rating, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and so on.

Realme GT 6 Expected Pricing in India

To recall, the Realme GT Neo 6 was launched starting at 2099 yuan (around Rs 24,730). Since the upcoming GT 6 will have some improvements compared to the GT Neo 6, will also cost higher.

If rumours are to be believed, the Realme GT 6 will be priced at less than Rs 40,000 in the country, giving tough competition to other devices like the OnePlus 12R and Google Pixel 8a.
