Realme GT 7 Set for April Launch in China with Dimensity 9400+ Chipset
Realme has confirmed that its next flagship, the GT 7, will debut in April in China, powered by MediaTek’s freshly announced Dimensity 9400+ processor.
The exact launch date hasn’t been disclosed yet, but the phone will be among the first to showcase the 3nm chip, alongside OPPO’s X8s series and vivo’s X200s.

Built for Real-World Speed, Not Just Benchmarks
Realme’s focus this time isn’t just on specs. According to VP Chase Xu, the goal has been to unlock the chip’s full potential by optimizing how its high-performance cores behave under real usage. Instead of stacking parameters on paper, Realme says the priority has been tuning the device to deliver consistent and stable performance across demanding tasks.
GT Performance Engine 2.0 Will Handle the Tuning
To achieve this, the company has developed GT Performance Engine 2.0—a new system that dynamically adjusts performance based on what users are doing. Whether it's gaming or multitasking, the engine is designed to balance speed, thermal control, and battery efficiency.
Expect a Boost in AI Features
The GT 7 is also expected to take advantage of the chipset’s upgraded AI capabilities. Though Realme hasn’t detailed any features yet, the phone is likely to offer system-level enhancements that make interactions more intelligent and context-aware, reflecting the industry’s shift toward on-device AI processing.
Big Battery, Slim Design
Beyond performance, the GT 7 is rumored to feature a flat display and a huge single-cell battery that exceeds 7,000mAh, paired with 100W fast charging. What makes this interesting is the form factor—despite the large battery, the phone is said to be thinner and lighter than the GT 6, which measured 8.4mm and weighed 207 grams.
