Realme GT 8 Full Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch: Check Expected Price and India Launch

Realme is all set to launch the GT 8 tomorrow (October 21) in China. The series will include the GT 8 and the GT 8 Pro. The detailed features and pricing of the Pro variant recently surfaced online. Now, the specifications and teaser of the standard GT 8 have been revealed just ahead of launch. Here's what to expect:

The official teaser reveals that the standard GT 8 will have a quite similar camera module to the GT 8 Pro. For the unaware, Realme has also partnered with Ricoh GR to fine-tune the cameras on the GT 8 series.

The Realme GT 8 will likely feature a 6.6-inch 2K 144Hz flat LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with the R1 gaming chip.

In the camera department, the Realme GT 8 could sport a 50MP main sensor, likely the Sony LYT700, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front-facing camera.

Moreover, the device will pack a massive 7000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Other aspects will include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, NFC, and an IP68/69 rating.

The Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro launch in China will take place on October 21 at 03:00 pm local time, or 12:30 pm IST. The Realme GT 8 series launch will be streamed live on the company's official Weibo account.
