Realme GT 8 Pro Confirmed to Launch in October, Live Video Leak Reveals Circular Camera Design

The Realme GT 8 Pro has shown up again in fresh leaks, this time giving us a clearer picture of its design. The images and video clips circulating on Weibo suggest some notable changes compared to earlier Realme flagships.

A Circular Take on the Camera Module

Earlier leaks had pointed toward a rectangular camera layout, but the latest visuals tell a different story. The GT 8 Pro appears to house its cameras inside a large circular module on the back. The setup includes three lenses and a flash positioned near the telephoto sensor. While the photos are slightly blurry, the design lines up with earlier hints, adding weight to the speculation.

The circular bump also looks more pronounced in the video, standing out from the flat back panel. According to reports, the phone will feature a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. There’s also chatter about a partnership with Ricoh, which could bring the company’s “Negative Film” color filter to smartphones for the first time.

What’s Under the Hood

Leaks suggest the GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, putting it in line with other high-end Android devices slated for late 2025. On the front, we might see a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display from BOE, with 2K resolution, slim bezels, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Battery life could be one of its biggest selling points. Rumors point to an 8,000mAh cell, which would put it at the very top of the flagship segment in terms of sheer capacity. On the software side, the phone is likely to ship with Realme UI 6 based on Android 16. Extra touches like an x-axis linear motor and dual speakers are also expected.

Launch Timeline

Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme GT 8 series will launch in October. The brand has not disclosed the date, but we should get more information in the coming days, so stay tuned to Gizbot.
