Realme GT Neo 5 Lite Key Specs, Launch Tipped: 1.5K AMOLED Display, SD7+ Gen1 SoC Expected
While the recently launched GT Neo 5 is a flagship Android smartphone, Realme is likely readying a watered-down version of it. Design renders and specifications of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE or the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite recently leaked online.
The design render, leaked on Weibo, a popular social media platform in China, shows the rear design of the phone. Going by the renders, it looks like the mystery Realme Android phone, belonging to the GT Neo 5 series, has some exciting features.

Per the leak, the smartphone has a large camera island that houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash strip. The signature C-shaped module of the Realme GT Neo is visible clearly. However, the Lite edition will not have RGB lighting or a transparent panel.
The mystery Realme smartphone has a White back panel, but Realme will likely offer more color options at launch. The words "MATRIX PORF 1.79F/EFL 25MM," can be seen engraved on the back.
Realme hasn't officially announced a Lite version of the Realme GT Neo 5. However, few reports suggest the smartphone will have a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Reports also claim that a Qualcomm SM7475 chipset will power the Realme smartphone. In other words, the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE could pack the Snapdragon 7+ Gen1 SoC, a new chipset from Qualcomm, which could also power the Xiaomi 13 Lite.
For imaging, the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE is rumored to feature a triple camera setup on the back. But instead of the 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor on the standard GT Neo 5, the Lite edition will feature a 64MP OV64M primary camera.
The toned-down version of the Realme GT Neo 5 will have a 5000mAh battery, but the smartphone may support 100W wired fast charging instead of the 240W technology of the flagship smartphone.
Realme GT Neo 5 Lite Launch, Availability
The Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE may launch in China in April. Reports claim Realme intends to have the smartphone compete against the Redmi Note Turbo, which will launch next month.
Since Realme hasn't announced the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE, its availability cannot be predicted. However, Realme may launch the Realme GT Neo 5 and the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE in multiple markets as a series, like the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus 11R.
