Realme Neo 7 SE with Dimensity 8400-Max Certified, Likely to Launch as Realme GT 7T in India

Realme is preparing to launch the Neo 7 SE, the latest addition to its Neo series, in February. This follows the release of the Realme Neo 7, which debuted in China last month.

With the Neo 7 SE, Realme aims to expand its mid-premium lineup, and the phone has already been confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max chipset.

Realme Neo 7 SE Gets Certified, Could Launch in India as Realme GT 7T

A Practical Design with Subtle Details

The design of the Realme Neo 7 SE has been revealed through MIIT certification images. The phone features a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, though the size of the bezels remains unknown. Its frame is boxy with rounded corners, likely improving grip and ergonomics. The volume and power buttons are positioned on the right side for convenience.

On the back, a square-shaped camera module is situated in the top-left corner, housing dual camera sensors and an LED flash. The certification images show the device in a purple color, though Realme is expected to offer additional color variants at launch.

Display and Performance

The Realme Neo 7 SE is expected to feature a 1.5K flat OLED display. This resolution, coupled with OLED technology, should deliver sharp and vibrant visuals. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, a new variant of the Dimensity 8400 series.

This chipset promises solid performance, likely catering to gamers and multitaskers alike. Realme has also included enhanced heat dissipation, a feature that could improve the phone's stability during extended usage.

Camera Specifications

The Neo 7 SE is expected to come with three cameras-two on the back and one for selfies. Leaks suggest that the primary rear camera will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The details on the selfie camera are unclear as of now.

Battery and Charging

The Neo 7 SE is reported to have a 6850mAh battery, which will likely be marketed as 7000mAh. This large capacity could make it an appealing option for users who prioritize battery life. Additionally, the phone will support 80W fast charging, allowing for quick recharges when needed.

Expected Pricing and Availability

In terms of pricing, the Neo 7 SE is expected to cost slightly less than the Neo 7, which starts at CNY 2,199 (around ₹25,800). Speculation suggests that the Neo 7 SE might start at CNY 1,799 (around ₹21,100).

While the phone will initially launch in China, there is a chance it could be rebranded and introduced to global markets, including India, as the Realme GT 7T.
