Realme X2 Pro To Boast 12GB RAM, 256GB Storage
Realme is all set to launch its first affordable flagship smartphone -- the X2 Pro. The company has already confirmed that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC along with a 90Hz refresh rate display.
The company has also confirmed that the phone will rock a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor accompanied by a telephoto, ultra-wide angle, and a depth sensor. Now, with the latest teaser, the company has officially confirmed that the top-end variant of the Realme X2 Pro will offer 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The phone will use LDDDR4x type RAM with UFS 3.0 storage, offering the best possible hardware in the market. As of now, it is pretty unclear if the phone will have a microSD card slot or not.
Realme X2 Pro Specifications
The Realme X2 Pro is expected to come with an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution bearing a water-drop style notch at the top. The device will also include an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is faster than the one used on the previous model, says Realme.
The device is expected to feature a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging, unlike any other Realme smartphone. It is speculated that the fast charger that is included in the box can refuel the battery from nothing to 100 percent in less than 45 minutes.
This is also the first phone from the brand based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with 6/8/12GB RAM and 64/128/256GB internal storage. The device is likely to launch with Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 with an Android 10 update in the pipeline.
As per the pricing, the Realme X2 Pro is expected to be priced aggressively and is likely to cost less than Rs. 30,000 for the base variant. And the smartphone is likely to hit Indian shores by December 2019.
