Redmi 15C 5G Design and Key Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch
The Redmi 15C 5G hasn’t been officially announced yet, but new leaks suggest it’s getting closer to launch.
A fresh set of renders, shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore in collaboration with Xpertpick, gives us a decent look at what the phone might look like and what to expect under the hood.

Going by the design and specs, the 15C 5G looks like an incremental upgrade over the Redmi 14C 5G (review), which launched earlier this year in India. That model came with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 50MP camera, and a 5,160mAh battery. The 15C seems to build on that formula—but with some modern touches.
What’s New with the Redmi 15C 5G?
Based on the leaked renders, the Redmi 15C 5G will stick with a flat back panel and a rectangular camera island positioned on the top left. There’s a noticeable camera cutout along with an LED flash, and a second camera hole that might be there just for aesthetics.
The display up front has thin bezels on the sides and a more visible chin at the bottom. There’s a centered waterdrop notch at the top, which houses the selfie camera. The phone is expected to ship in green, lavender, and black color options.
Probable Specs
Here’s a quick breakdown of what the leaks suggest:
- Display: A 6.9-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Camera: A 50MP rear sensor, same as its predecessor. The second rear camera might be decorative.
- Battery: A 6,000mAh unit with 33W wired charging. That’s more power than the 14C’s 5,160mAh.
- OS: Expected to run HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15.
- Security: Side-mounted fingerprint sensor
- Variants (EU): Likely to launch in 4GB + 128GB and 4GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations.
The chipset remains unknown for now, but if Xiaomi sticks to past patterns, it’ll probably be a mid-tier 5G chip from Qualcomm or MediaTek.
4G Variant Also in the Works
This leak focuses on the 5G version, but earlier reports have already pointed to a Redmi 15C 4G model. Both phones are expected to share the same design language, though performance and internal hardware may differ. Think of it as the same shell with different engines under the hood.
