Redmi K80 Ultra Specifications Tipped in New Leak; Could Feature Dimensity 9400+ and 6500mAh Battery

Redmi launched the K80 and the K80 Pro in China back in November last year. Now, the brand is expected to launch the Redmi K80 Ultra soon in its homegrown market. While Redmi hasn't provided details about the upcoming K series phone, a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the key specifications of the K80 Ultra. Let's dive into the details.

Redmi K80 Ultra Features Revealed

While the tipster doesn't mention the name of the phone, it's said to be the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra. The leak suggests the current engineering prototype of the Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a 1.5K flat OLED display with slim bezels on all four sides. It is also expected to come with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Redmi K80 is tipped to have a metal middle frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the device could feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. The leak also reveals that the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra will pack a 6,500mAh battery, which will be an upgrade over the 5,500mAh battery featured on the predecessor Redmi K70 Ultra. Apart from this, nothing is known about the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra.

However, it's expected to follow the same launch timeline as the Redmi K70 Ultra which was launched back in July 2024, featuring the Dimensity 9300+ SoC, D1 Chip, and a 144Hz OLED display.

Another leak shared by the same tipster claims that Dimensity 9400 Plus-powered smartphones will be arriving by mid-2025. While he doesn't reveal the names of the brands, Realme, iQOO, and OnePlus are most likely to be among them.

All models are tipped to feature a 1.5K display, metal middle frame, glass or fibreglass body, a large main camera sensor, and 7,000mAh batteries.
