Redmi Note 12 4G Launched Globally: Specifications, Features

Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 12 4G in Europe. The brand's 4G model arrives alongside other smartphones in the Note 12 series, which also includes the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

While the aforementioned three phones have already arrived in India earlier this year, the Redmi Note 12 4G is yet to debut in the country. Just this week, Xiaomi confirmed that the 4G model will debut in India on March 30, 2023.

Redmi Note 12 4G Specifications

The Redmi Note 12 4G flaunts a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness of 1,200 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

The Note 12 4G is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, based on the 6nm process. It is coupled with an Adreno 610 GPU. The handset supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For storage-hungry users, the Redmi Note 12 4G comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. As for the operating system, the smartphone boots Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.

When it comes to imaging, the Note 12 4G features a triple camera setup at the rear. It comprises a 50MP Samsung JN1 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The smartphone is equipped with a 13MP camera at the front for selfies.

Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 12 4G include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It also comes with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 12 4G Price, Availability

The Redmi Note 12 4G costs €229 (around ₹20,400) for the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is currently offered at a special price of €199 (around ₹17,700). Meanwhile, the version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs €249 (around ₹22,200).

The Redmi Note 12 4G comes in Ice Blue, Mint Green, and Onyx Grey color options. The smartphone is set to launch in India later this month, on March 30.
