Redmi Note 12 Turbo With Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC Announced: Specifications

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 12 Turbo 5G, featuring the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, in China. The handset sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Dolby Vision support.

According to reports, a rebadged version of the Note 12 Turbo will debut globally as the Poco F5. Although the brand hasn't confirmed the launch timeline, the smartphone is expected to launch on April 6.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo 5G: Specifications

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo flaunts a 6.67-inch OLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut and features 1000 nits of peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM Dimming, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.

The Note 12 Turbo is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, which is accompanied by up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. It features a super-diffusion diversion vapor chamber for cooling which reportedly raises the heat dissipation capacity by 35 percent.

When it comes to imaging, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo features a triple camera setup at the rear. It is headlined by a 64MP sensor with OIS and an in-sensor zoom. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, there's a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Note 12 Turbo features a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. As for connectivity, the smartphone includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB type-C port. It also includes support for Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6.

When it comes to audio, the handset supports spatial audio and Hi-Res audio. In addition, the power button doubles as the fingerprint sensor. The smartphone boots Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo 5G: Availability

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is priced at RMB 1,999 (around ₹23,880) for the 8GB + 256GB base model. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 256GB version costs RMB 2,099 (around ₹25,100).

The 12GB + 512GB variant of the Note 12 Turbo is priced at RMB 2,299 (around ₹27,450), and the high-end 16GB + 1TB version costs RMB 2,599 (roughly ₹31,100).

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will go on sale in China on March 31. The device is available in Ice feather white, Star sea blue, and carbon fiber black color options. A special Harry Potter edition is also available, which includes limited edition accessories. There's no word on the global availability yet.
