Redmi Note 8 Pro Terminator Edition Launched With A Custom Terminator Case

It has been a long practice for smartphone makers to launch phones with an upcoming movie theme. This time, Xiaomi has partnered with the terminator team to launch a limited edition Redmi Note 8 Pro -- the Redmi Note 8 Pro Terminator Edition offering 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. And the device has gone official in Spain.

Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger staring Terminator: Dark Fate is all set to hit the screens on November 1 and is said to be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day which was released in 1984.

Redmi Note 8 Pro Terminator Edition Features And Specifications

The specifications of the Redmi Note 8 Pro Terminator Edition are in-line with the standard model. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution with HDR500 certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The MediaTek Helio G90T SoC runs the show with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Besides, the phone has a dual SIM slot with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE on both slots. As per the software, the device runs on MIUI 10 skin on top of Android 9 Pie OS.

The camera setup on the Redmi Note 8 Pro Terminator Edition has a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP 2CM macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP selfie camera at the front with support for 1080p video recording capability.

A 4,500 mAh battery takes care of power requirements with support for 18W fast charging via the USB Type-C port. Besides, the phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The limited-edition comes in Gamma Green comes with a special retail package with a Terminator themed protective case. The device will go on sale in Spain from October 29 for 229 Euros (approx Rs. 17,984) instead of a regular 249 Euro (approx Rs. 19,500) price tag.
