Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 to Launch on April 24th
Xiaomi is back with another contender in the ever-competitive mid-range space, and this one looks ready to blur the line between budget and premium. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be officially launched on April 24 in China, as part of Xiaomi’s strategy to offer flagship-like experiences at more accessible prices.
The device is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip—an SoC designed to deliver high-end performance just a notch below the full-fat 8 Elite. That alone puts the Turbo 4 Pro in interesting territory for mobile gamers and power users who don’t want to spend a fortune.

Premium Design in a Mid-Range Package
In terms of design, Xiaomi seems to be taking cues from its premium siblings. The Turbo 4 Pro features a large R-angle front design, uniform ultra-slim bezels, and a metal frame—a significant step up from the plastic builds usually found in this price segment. The soft mist glass back adds a muted texture that makes the device look more expensive than it likely is.
According to Redmi China’s head Thomas Wang, the build quality is meant to rival phones in the 5,000-yuan (~₹58,000) segment.
What to Expect Inside
Leaked specs suggest a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and configurations with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 20MP front camera. The phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 and features a 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
Expect full launch details, including pricing and global availability, on April 24.
