Reliance LYF, the subsidiary of Reliance Retail that manufactures smartphones under the LYF brand has announced the launch of a new entry-level smartphone called Lyf Flame 3
Only a few days back, the brand announced the launch of Lyf Flame 2. Now, it has launched another smartphone called Lyf Flame 3 priced at Rs 3,999. The device is yet to be listed on the official website, but it is up for pre-order on HomeShop18.
The USP of the Lyf lineup of smartphones is to render 4G VoLTE support even to the users. With this support, the Lyf Flame 3 is one of the cheapest smartphones to support 4G VoLTE.

Spec sheet of Lyf Flame 3
The Lyf Flame 3 boasts a 4-inch WVGA 480p IPS display and it employs a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor that is teamed up with 512 MB RAM. The storage capacity is 4 GB and it can be expanded up to 32 GB using a micro SD card slot.
At the rear, the Lyf Flame 3 has a 5 MP main snapper with LED flash and there is a 2 MP front-facing selfie shooter as well on board. The smartphone draws power from a 1,700 mAh battery that will render a moderate backup to it.
The Flame 3 has connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM, and GPS along with 4G VoLTE. It is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Though there are many affordable entry-level smartphones in the market with devices such as Intex Cloud Fame and Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus, the support for 4G VoLTE in the device will give Lyf Flame 3 an edge over the competition.
