Samsung Confirms Galaxy A16 India Launch with Knox Vault and Super AMOLED Display

The Samsung Galaxy A16 recently made its debut in the European market. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch the latest A series smartphone soon in India. While the exact launch date is still known, the brand has confirmed a few details about the Indian variant of the Galaxy A16.

Samsung Galaxy A16 India Launch: What to Expect?

The brand confirmed in a press release that the upcoming Galaxy A16 will have a Key Island feature and a glasstic (a mix of glass and plastic) back pattern coupled with a larger display and thinner bezels. The phone will be available in three stunning colours -- Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black.

The Indian variant is confirmed to ship with a MediaTek processor instead of the Exynos 1330 SoC featured on the global variant. While the brand has not revealed the name of the processor, the rumours suggested it could be the Dimensity 6300. It will come with a 'Knox Vault Chipset' for securing essential data, including pins and passwords.

The Galaxy A16 will also ship with 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. The Galaxy A16 5G will be the first mid-range Galaxy A series smartphone to feature an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G will include a triple camera system and a Super AMOLED display to enhance the viewing experience with brilliant colours and deep contrasts.
