Samsung Galaxy A17 5G with Exynos 1330 SoC, 90Hz AMOLED Display, Triple-Camera Setup Launched in India

Samsung has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its affordable Galaxy A series in India. The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G was already unveiled in global markets earlier this month. And it appears that the Indian variant mirrors the global model.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 price in India starts from Rs. 18,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher-end models, offering 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage, are priced at Rs. 20,499 and Rs. 23,499 respectively.

Customers can get an instant discount of ₹1,000 on SBI and HDFC Bank credit card or EMI transactions when purchasing through Samsung's official website. The Galaxy A17 5G comes in Black, Blue, and Grey colour options and is available for purchase in India via the Samsung e-store, Amazon, and Flipkart.

This A17 5G features a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The device is available in Black, Blue, and Grey colours.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A17 5G is equipped with an octa-core Exynos 1330 SoC. It comes paired with up to 8GB of RAM and offers up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone operates on One UI 7 based on Android 15.

For optics, the Galaxy A17 5G is equipped with a triple-camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and autofocus, a 5MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro unit with an f/2.4 aperture.

A robust battery capacity of 5,000mAh powers the Galaxy A17 5G. It supports fast charging up to 25W via wired connection. Connectivity options include support for both current-generation networks like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well as legacy options such as USB Type-C ports.
