Samsung Galaxy A51 Geekbench Listing Hints At Exynos 9611 SoC And Android 10
Samsung's Galaxy A series has been quite successful since its launch. These smartphones have helped the company increase its market share in India and other key markets. Now, the company appears to be working on the next-generation Galaxy A series devices slated to see the light of the day in early 2020.
While we already know the alleged names of a few upcoming Galaxy A series smartphones, the latest to hit the headlines is the Galaxy A51 with the model number SM-A515. Well, this smartphone has been surfaced on the Geekbench benchmark database revealing its key specifications via MySmartPrice.
Samsung Galaxy A51 Geekbench Listing
As per the leaked Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A51 will use the same Exynos 9611 SoC as the Galaxy A50s, which went official in August this year. Besides the chipset, the benchmark listing reveals that the device will sport 4GB RAM to handle various tasks. We can also expect the company to launch a 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone.
When it comes to benchmark cores, the Samsung Galaxy A51 appears to have scored 323 points in the single-core test and 1185 points in the multi-core test. The device is believed to be identical to the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A50s in terms of performance as the benchmark scores are almost identical.
While there appears to be no specific difference in terms of performance, it is said that the Samsung Galaxy A51 could be launched with Android 10 topped with the company's One UI 2.0 out-of-the-box. Notably, previous reports have hinted that the upcoming Samsung smartphone in question could be launched with 64GB and 128GB storage capacities and arrive in Silver, Blue, and Black color options
Our Take On Galaxy A51
For now, there is no further information pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy A51. We can expect the company to bring a few minor changes and tweaks onboard the new device in comparison to its predecessors. As per previous reports, Samsung is working on a slew of devices in the Galaxy A series and the names of these phones have already been trademarked. As these could be launched in early 2020, we can get further details in the coming months.
