Samsung Galaxy A51 Production Commences In India: Launch Expected In 2020
Samsung recently refreshed its Galaxy A smartphone series with the launch of the Galaxy A50s. Now, the South Korean giant seems to have started working on its successor dubbed Galaxy A51. While the device is rumored to go official next year, its production details have surfaced online. Details are as follows:
Samsung Galaxy A51 Production Details
The Samsung Galaxy A51's production has started in India. An industry source has revealed this information to 91Mobiles. The report shared by the publication reveals the commencement of the Galaxy A51 manufacturing at Samsung's facility based in Greater Noida, UP.
Notably, the company also began the initial production of the Galaxy M series in India earlier this year at the same facility in Greater Noida. As of now, there is no information on the hardware and features which the Galaxy A51 is likely to offer. But, the device is said to come as a mid-range offering.
Notably, the device recently made an appearance on Geekbench revealing some of the hardware along with the single-core and multi-core test results. The listing suggested an Exynos 9611 chipset which is also offered by the Galaxy A50s and the Galaxy M30s.
The device might come with 4GB/6GB RAM and be available in multiple storage options.
As for the benchmark scores, the Galaxy A51 logged 323 points in the single-core and 118 points in the multi-core tests.
Samsung is likely to stick with four cameras at the rear. The sensors are suggested to be a 32MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a 5Mp depth sensor.
Moreover, the device is said to come pre-loaded with Android 10 OS and offer a new One UI 2.0 user interface. The battery and other features are undisclosed, but the device is said to be launched in black, blue, and silver colors.
We still are waiting for Samsung to reveal the official launch date and see what all upgrades it brings over its predecessor.
