Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Spotted on 3C Certification Site

The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G was spotted (via 91mobiles) on the 3C Certification with model number SM-A5660. According to the 3C listing, the smartphone will support 45W charging, an upgrade over the 25W charging speed of its predecessor Galaxy A55 5G.

We usually see 45W charging support on Samsung flagships, so, it could be the first A-series phone to feature 45W charging. The 3C listing also suggests that the Galaxy A56 won't include a charging adapter in the box, which you'll have to buy separately.

Last month, the Geekbench listing suggested that the Galaxy A56 will be powered by the Exynos 1580 processor, which scored 1,341 in single-core and 3,836 in multi-core tests. The Exynos 1580 processor is codenamed 'Santa' and is expected to compete with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 SoC. Even the chip has better scores compared to the Exynos 1480 processor that powers the Galaxy A55 5G.

The Galaxy A56 is also expected to come with Android 15 OS. Other features of the upcoming A series phone are still under wraps. It remains to be seen if the Galaxy A56 get camera upgrades or offers the same camera specs as the Galaxy A55, which has a triple rear camera system including a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera. Upfront, the handset sports a 32MP selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Launch Timeline (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G is anticipated to arrive early next year. The exact launch timeline is still unknown at this moment. As far as the India launch is concerned, the Galaxy A56 5G is believed to land in the Indian market as it already visited the IMEI database.
