The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) was originally launched in India earlier this year with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. Other than the usual features of Android Nougat, the update also includes the Dual Messenger feature that will let users setup two accounts of a social networking site. Weighing in at 1376.35MB, this update is being pushed out via over-the-air (OTA). So don't get worried if your device has not received the update yet. However, if you are one of those impatient kinds, you can also check for the update manually by going to Settings >About Phone > Software Update.
Needless to say, make sure your device has sufficient amount of storage space and battery life, before proceeding with the installation of the update. Preferably, your Galaxy A7 (2017) should have at least 50 percent of charge and 2GB of free space. Lastly, it is recommended that your smartphone is connected to Wi-Fi as 1GB is definitely too much of data.
