Samsung Galaxy F36 5G Launching in India on July 19: Slim Design, AI Features, and More Incoming
Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy F36 5G in India on July 19 at 12 PM IST. Following the launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite is already live. Here's what to expect from the next-generation F series device.
Samsung Galaxy F36 5G - What to expect?
The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy F34 5G, which was launched back in 2023. According to the Flipkart teaser, the upcoming Galaxy F36 will feature a slim design, while the predecessor Galaxy F34 5G measures 161.7 x 77.2 x 8.8 mm and weighs 208g. Based on this, the Galaxy F36 5G is expected to be thinner than 8.8mm.

The teaser also reveals that the SIM tray of the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is placed on the top-left side. Additionally, Flipkart is promoting the Galaxy F36 5G with the tagline "Flex Hi-FAI," hinting at the AI-powered features.
Moreover, the camera design of the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G closely resembles that of the recently launched Galaxy M36 5G, featuring a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup. The Galaxy M36 5G, which debuted as one of Samsung's slimmest M-series phones at just 7.7mm thick, offers six years of OS updates and includes AI-powered features such as Google's Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and Samsung's own Galaxy AI tools like AI Select for contextual actions. We expect similar AI features to be available on the Galaxy F36 5G as well.
The Galaxy F36 5G is also showcased in red and purple colour options, with a leather-textured rear panel. While specifications remain unknown, the device was spotted on the Google Play Console, confirming that it will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 1380 chipset, the same processor found in the Galaxy M36 5G.
The Galaxy F36 5G is also expected to support Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a pixel density of 450ppi, 6GB of RAM and run on Android 15 OS. The battery and display size are still under wraps. Stay tuned with us for more information surrounding the Galaxy F36 5G.
