Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 with Samsung Mall launched in India for Rs. 8,190

Samsung Galaxy J2 2018, the latest addition to Samsung's Galaxy J series, has just been launched in India. Priced at Rs. 8,190, the smartphone will be available for sale from April 27. The Galaxy J2 2018 comes in color options like Gold, Black and Pink.

Jio subscribers who buy the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 will get an instant cashback of Rs. 2,750 in their MyJio account on recharging with Rs. 198 or Rs. 299 plan. They will also get an extra 10GB of 4G data on every recharge for the next 10 recharges.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 is fitted with a 5.0-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, the smartphone is fueled by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 256GB. It also has an advanced 'Device Maintenance' feature which optimizes device performance automatically.

When it comes to cameras, the Galaxy J2 2018 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, both with LED flash. Running on Android operating system, the smartphone draws power from a 2,600mAh battery. The phone offers connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth v4.2, and USB 2.0. Sensors onboard include Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor.

Notably, the Galaxy J2 2018 comes preloaded with Samsung Mall, which uses artificial intelligence to provide a better online shopping experience to users. With this feature users can take an image of a product in real life, or something from their gallery, and then utilize visual search to identify the product and find it across various online shopping sites.

Samsung Mall will also let users buy the product via Samsung Mall's 'Universal Cart' feature. In addition, Samsung Mall allows users to look at products from multiple shopping sites in a single place; referred to as All-in-one Shopping.
