Samsung Galaxy M11, Galaxy M31 Likely On Cards, Could Arrive In 2020

We have already come across details regarding the next-generation Galaxy A series smartphones. And, two of them just went official at an event in Vietnam on Thursday. Now, details regarding the next-generation Galaxy M series smartphones have started surfacing online.

As per a recent report, the successors of the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30 smartphones are likely to be dubbed Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31. While there is no word regarding the specifications and design of these upcoming Samsung smartphones, we can expect them to be bundled with upgraded innards.

Samsung Galaxy M11, Galaxy M31 Details

A recent SamMobile report sheds light on the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31. The report suggests that these smartphones are in the early stages of development. Eventually, the details regarding the design and innards are scarce for now. But it has been revealed that the Galaxy M11 might have 32GB of storage space while the Galaxy M31 might arrive with double the storage capacity, which is 64GB.

Furthermore, the report notes that the Galaxy M31 is all set to draw the power from the Snapdragon 665 SoC along with 6GB RAM. And, it is likely to feature a triple camera sensor with a triple-camera system at the rear comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary wide-angle lens, and a 5MP tertiary depth sensor.

Upcoming Galaxy M Series Smartphones

However, the report mentions that the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M11 aren't the only smartphones in the next-generation Galaxy M Series. The company is also in plans to unveil the sequels to the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M40 sometime next year. These are likely to be dubbed Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M41.

From the existing reports, the Galaxy M21 is believed to get the power from an Exynos 9609 SoC along with 4GB RAM. It is said to arrive with dual cameras at the rear with a 24MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. On the other hand, the Galaxy M41 is likely to feature a triple-camera system at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary wide-angle lens, and a 5MP tertiary depth sensor.

Though there are speculations regarding the next-generation Galaxy M series smartphones, it remains to be seen if these are final. Until there is an official word from Samsung, we cannot come to any conclusion.
