Samsung Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30 Android 10 Update Likely On Cards
Samsung revamped its portfolio in India with the launch of the Galaxy M and Galaxy A series smartphones earlier this year. These smartphones have helped the company get a strong foothold in the Indian market with attractive specifications and competitive pricing to compete against the likes of rivals.

Besides launching these smartphones, Samsung seems to be all set to bring the latest iteration of Android to some of its Galaxy M series smartphones. Well, a report by SamMobile suggests that the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 will get the Android 10 update in the coming weeks or months.
Samsung Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30 Android 10 Update
Though there is no clarity regarding when the Samsung Galaxy M series smartphones will get the update, it is claimed that the beta version of the update is under testing for flagship models such as the Note 10 series, S10 series and yesteryear models.
As per a new report, Samsung is working on testing the update for the affordable Galaxy M series smartphones as well. Especially, it notes the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 devices.
This comes from the Wi-Fi Alliance certification that both these smartphones have received. The certification confirms the presence of the Android 10-based test firmware on these devices. It shows the M20 with the version number M205FDDU3CSK3 and M30 with M305FDDU2CSK3.
Notably, both these smartphones have already received a major Android update in the past taking them from Android Oreo to Android Pie. This makes us believe the report regarding the Android 10 based update as there are increased chances for the same. We can expect the Android 10 update to be rolled out to these Samsung smartphones in Q1 2020.
What We Think
Moreover, it adds that the mid-range and entry-level smartphones will get the Android 10 update similar to high-end models. Usually, such devices would get updates only after almost a year of the latter's release. So, this new trend seems to be quite uncommon and we need to wait for an official confirmation.
