Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Spotted on BIS Website, Could Debut Soon

Samsung is rumoured to be gearing up to release the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone sometime in Q3, 2023. A few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE was spotted on Samsung's official website. Now, in the latest development, the upcoming fan edition series smartphone has been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.

It was spotted with the model number SM-S711B/DS, and is being touted to be the Indian variant of the phone. The listing signals to a launch on the cards soon. Here's a closer look at what we know about the smartphone so far.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Specifications Confirmed So Far

The latest listing on the BIS website unfortunately doesn't give away much about the upcoming smartphone. Samsung hasn't officially said anything about the launch or the device yet.

However, previous listings have revealed some key specifications about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.

The upcoming smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database recently. This listing revealed that the device will be powered by the company's in-house Exynos 2200 processor. However, in some areas and regions, the smartphone will make use of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

When it comes to storage, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will boast of 8GB of RAM. It will come pre-loaded and run on Android 13 based OneUI.

In other developments prior to this, the device also acquired its 3C certification, which confirmed that the phone will support 25W fast charging.

Through the WPC listing, it was revealed that the smartphone will additionally support 15W wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Rumoured Design and Camera Details

Previously leaked design renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE hint towards the fact that the handset will share a design close to the Galaxy S23 series.

When it comes to the camera, the phone will feature a triple-camera setup. This will include a 50MP main camera.

According to rumours, the phone will come loaded with a 4500mAh battery unit. It is likely that we'll find out launch timeline, pricing, availability and other confirmed details about the phone as we get closer to the launch.
