Samsung Galaxy S23 in Lime Color to Launch in India; Rumours Suggest S23 Ultra Follow Suit

Samsung has announced that a new color option for its Galaxy S23 5G will be launched in India, which will be the Lime variant. The company had previously confirmed this when it released a teaser for the new phone. A recent leak has now revealed that the high-end model of the phone, the S23 Ultra, will also be available in the new Lime color.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Gets a Lime Color Option

Paras Guglani, a tipster, has shared a render of the new Lime color option for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23. The image includes both the standard model and the Ultra model. However, there is a possibility that only the vanilla Galaxy S23 will be available in the new color variant in India.

The vanilla model of the Samsung Galaxy S23 is currently available in four different color options in India: Phantom Black, Green, Lavender, and Cream. The upcoming Lime color will be the phone's fifth color option. When the Lime color option will be available for purchase is unknown.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will also be available in the new Lime color option. As is evident from the render, the S Pen for the S23 Ultra sports a black colorway with a silver click button. Currently, Samsung offers the S23 Ultra in Phantom Black, Green, and Cream colors in India, but it is unknown if the Lime color variant will be available in the country.

As a refresher, the vanilla Galaxy S23 features a flat 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout at the top center. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a larger 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate support.

Both phones are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 "For Galaxy" SoC. The S23 has a 3900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, while the S23 Ultra has a larger 5000mAh battery with up to 45W fast charging support.

The vanilla S23 has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, has a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and two 10MP telephoto sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom. Both phones also feature a 12MP front-facing camera.
