The Samsung Galaxy S24 is currently available at a massive discount in India via Amazon. The discount comes just ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to take place on January 22, 2025.

Despite being unveiled over a year ago, the Samsung Galaxy S24 is still one of the best smartphones in the segment and was recently crowned our compact smartphone of the year. But before we dive into its relevancy in 2025, let's look at the new pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S24.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Massive Discount on Amazon

The Samsung Galaxy S24 is now priced at Rs 50,999 on Amazon for the sole 8GB/128GB model. Additionally, the 8GB/256GB variant of the Galaxy S24 is available for as low as Rs 56,200. The current deal for the Galaxy S24 is only available on Amazon India and cannot be paired with other offers.

To recall, the Galaxy S24 arrived in India with a starting price of Rs 79,999, although it is currently priced at Rs 64,999 on the Samsung India website.

The discount doesn't come as a surprise as the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra are also available at huge discounts ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. But is the Galaxy S24 worth considering, particularly with the launch of its successor only a few weeks away.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Relevant in 2024?

• While the Exynos 2400 chip powering the Galaxy S24 is not quite on the level of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, it is still a capable chipset for the price that can handle most tasks you throw at it effortlessly. However, the 128GB of storage is a major downside, while 8GB of RAM might not be as future proof.

On paper, the Galaxy S24 is still a capable smartphone, and it will remain one for the next few years. I wouldn't recommend active mobile gamers, the iQOO 13 is easily the better option there. However, I'd probably grab this deal rather than wait for the upcoming Galaxy S25.
