Samsung Galaxy S25 Series' Launch Date Leaked, and a Slim Model Might Join the Lineup
Samsung is gearing up to unveil its next flagship lineup, the Galaxy S25 series, with leaks and rumors providing a near-complete picture of what to expect. The launch is expected to take place at a Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, according to a leaked image shared by renowned leaker @evleaks.
The image hints at a significant addition to the lineup-a potential fourth smartphone-alongside the regular Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Four Smartphones at Galaxy Unpacked?
Samsung traditionally focuses on three flagship models in its Galaxy S series: the base, Plus, and Ultra variants. However, the leaked invite shows four devices, sparking speculation about the Galaxy S25 Slim, a rumored compact model that could cater to users seeking a minimalist design.
Despite the teaser, detailed renders or specifications of this fourth device have not yet surfaced (though the phone has been mentioned in past leaks), leading some to believe it might launch later in 2025, rather than alongside the main lineup. The Slim appears to target users who value compact, minimalist designs without compromising on performance.
Rounded Corners and Flat Frames
Leaked renders of the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra (also shared by Blass) reveal a key design shift for the Ultra model. It will reportedly adopt an iPhone-like flat frame and feature rounded corners, marking a departure from the sharp-edged look of previous Ultra models. These changes aim to improve ergonomics while maintaining a premium feel.
Color options for the Galaxy S25 lineup have also leaked. The Ultra will feature Titanium Black as its signature color, while the S25 and S25+ will reportedly be available in seven shades, with Blue Black expected to be a popular choice.
What's New with the Cameras?
The Galaxy S25 Ultra's camera setup is not expected to see a massive overhaul. However, a notable improvement is rumored for the ultrawide lens, which could be upgraded to a 50MP sensor, enhancing overall photo quality. Samsung seems to be focusing on refining existing features rather than introducing radical changes, aligning with its trend of incremental improvements in camera technology.
Launch Event Details
Another trusted source suggests that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is set to return to San Jose, California, with a planned start time of 10 AM Pacific Time (11:30 PM IST). Additionally, the event may feature the debut of Samsung's newly unveiled Project Moohan XR headset.
