Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s New Flat Design Leaked in Latest Renders
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has made its debut through early renders, giving us a glimpse of what to expect.
The new model promises several design changes and updates to its specifications compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Design Changes
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra introduces a notable shift in design with its flat edges, a departure from the slightly rounded sides of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to the leaked renders, the S25 Ultra will feature a flat design throughout, similar to the Pixel 9 and iPhone models. This design change brings a more uniform look to the device.

In terms of dimensions, the S25 Ultra is slightly smaller than the S24 Ultra. It measures 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm, making it narrower and thinner by 0.4mm. Additionally, the new model will weigh 219 grams, which is 13 grams lighter than its predecessor. This reduction in weight is attributed to the thinner profile and ultra-narrow bezels.
Camera Upgrades
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will come equipped with an upgraded camera system. It is expected to feature a 200MP primary sensor, a new 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor, and a 50MP 5x telephoto sensor. The front-facing camera will remain at 12MP.

The primary sensor and the new ultra-wide camera are likely to enhance photo quality and provide more versatile shooting options, though the most significant upgrades are seen in the ultra-wide camera.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. This new chipset, set to be announced in mid-October at the Snapdragon Summit, is expected to offer improved performance and power efficiency compared to previous generations. It will reportedly be used globally for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as Samsung might not use its Exynos chipset in some regions as it has in the past.
The phone will retain the same 5,000mAh battery as the S24 Ultra, coupled with 45W fast charging and Qi wireless charging capabilities. Despite the unchanged battery size, improvements in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor could enhance overall battery life and efficiency.
Software and Availability
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to run on Android 15 out of the box, featuring Samsung's One UI 7. This new software version will likely bring several enhancements and new features to the device.
The official announcement for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to take place in January 2025, aligning with the launch patterns of previous models.
