Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Chipset Details Leaked: Exynos Might be Making a Comeback in India

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is set to make its global debut next week at the company's first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024. Samsung has only teased 'Galaxy AI' leading up to the event, which suggests a major focus on AI.

However, a recent leak paints a grim picture for Samsung fans in India. Tipster Abhishek recently shared some damning information about the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

Is Exynos Making a Comeback?

According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus will use the Exynos 2400 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. To recall, Indian audiences finally rejoiced in 2022 when Samsung chose to use the Snapdragon chip on its Galaxy S22 series.

With the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung implemented widespread adoption of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Even going so far as to introduce a custom version of the chip for the Galaxy S23 series.

In the past few years, Qualcomm's flagship chips have often had a significant edge over their Exynos counterparts. So replacing the Qualcomm chip on the Galaxy S24 series with an Exynos SoC might dissuade some customers from making a switch away from Samsung.
