Samsung Galaxy S24 Series’ Press Material Surfaces Ahead of Launch

Samsung enthusiasts are eagerly counting down the days to the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 18. Notable leakster Evan Blass has already provided a sneak peek into the event with actual press materials, offering a glimpse of the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series.

The event, set to kick off at 3 AM KST (11:30 PM IST), promises to reveal Samsung's latest innovations in the smartphone arena.

Display and Design

The Galaxy S24 series is poised to make a statement with its impressive display specifications. The standard S24 will boast a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with FHD+ resolution, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and an outstanding 2,600 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the S24+ will step up with a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ display, and the S24 Ultra will showcase a 6.8-inch panel.

The devices will be available in Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Amber Yellow colors, each adorned with Armor Aluminum 2.0 casings for the S24 and S24+, and a new titanium frame for the Ultra model.

Camera Capabilities

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the camera upgrades on the Galaxy S24 series. The S24 and S24+ will feature a 50MP main camera with a 3x telephoto module, capable of recording in stunning 8K resolution. On the other hand, the S24 Ultra will impress with a 200MP main camera, accompanied by 3x and 10x telephoto modules.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 series will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, although some regions, including Korea, Europe, and India, will receive the Exynos 2400 variant. Memory configurations include 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage for the S24, while the S24+ and S24 Ultra will offer 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage.

Ensuring lasting power, the S24 will feature a 4,000 mAh battery, the S24+ a 4,900 mAh cell, and the S24 Ultra an impressive 5,000 mAh cell.
