Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Leaks Suggest a Completely Flat Display
Samsung's Galaxy S line has consistently been a hit with consumers, and the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra is generating considerable excitement. Leaked renders have already provided us with a sneak peek, and now alleged hands-on images, shared by leaker David Martin, offer a closer look at what could be the silver version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
One thing that stands out in these images is the switch to a flat screen and back, which departs from the curved design of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

A Familiar Look with Notable Tweaks
The leaked images depict a handset resembling the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with a flat back panel and display. The quad-camera setup on the rear, housed within separate metal rings, remains a highlight. Physical buttons are neatly arranged on the right-hand side, accompanied by a center-hole punch selfie camera in the display. Interestingly, the S Pen is positioned at the bottom, slightly protruding.
Under the Hood: Upgraded Processor and Camera Unit
The Galaxy S24 Ultra, with model number SM-S928B/DS, recently surfaced on the BIS website and Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Expectations are high for an overclocked GPU and CPU cores on this variant. Storage configurations include 12GB RAM + 256GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. A robust camera system is anticipated, featuring a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope camera, a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor.
Titanium Frame and Early Release Date
Leaked information suggests the use of a titanium frame, a notable departure from the curved displays of the past. The handset is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. Samsung plans to introduce a muted silver-grey shade to complement the titanium frame.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event is rumored to take place on January 17, 2024, in San Jose, US. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series are expected to commence on the same day, with general sales possibly starting on January 30.
