Samsung has reportedly confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series. According to The Elec, the South Korean tech giant is set to unveil the new flagship series on January 17, 2024.

While the information hasn't been officially shared on Samsung's social media platforms, the report cites an unnamed Samsung Electronics official as the source.

Pre-Order and Sale Schedule

The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be available for pre-orders on the same day as the launch, i.e., January 17. Customers who pre-order can anticipate receiving their devices between January 26th and 30th. The open sale for the Galaxy S24 series is slated to commence on January 30, as per the same report. It's worth noting that Samsung has yet to confirm these details through its official communication channels.

Design Insights from Screen Protectors

In a separate development, tipster Ice Universe has shared images of the screen protectors for all three models of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The images suggest that the overall design will closely resemble the previous models. Notably, the standard and plus versions feature rounded edges, while the ultra variant has sharp edges. The screen protectors also hint at symmetrical bezels, slightly thinner compared to the S23 lineup.

The Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2x LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor (Adreno 740 GPU, Exynos 2400 SoC in select markets), they offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Running on OneUI 6 based on Android 14, they boast a rear camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is 12MP.

The S24 has a 4,700mAh battery, while the S24+ has a 4,900mAh battery, both supporting 45W wired charging and wireless charging.
