Update: Samsung has officially announced the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge in India.

As promised, Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 Edge - the company's first ultra-slim phone. It comes with a titanium frame, measures just 5.8mm in thickness, and weighs only 163 grams. Let's take a look at its design, full specifications, and availability.

As noted, the Galaxy S25 Edge is slim at just 5.8mm, making it one of the thinnest S-series phones Samsung has ever made. Weighing only 163 grams, it offers a lightweight and comfortable feel while keeping the premium look of the Galaxy S series.

It has curved edges and a tough titanium frame, and the front is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 glass. In terms of features, the Galaxy S25 Edge sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz.

The handset powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. For optics, there is a 200MP primary camera with 2x optical quality zoom, a 12MP ultra wide sensor, and a 12MP selfie camera.

Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Edge packs a 3,900mAh battery with 25W wired charging support, which can charge it up to 55% in about 30 minutes. However, the charger is not included in the box and needs to be bought separately. Other features include Galaxy AI tools, an official IP68 rating, and Android 15 OS with One UI 7.

The Galaxy S25 Edge price starts at $1,099.99 (around Rs 93,352) for the base 256GB model, while the 512GB model is priced at $1,219.99 (around Rs 1,03,536). The phone comes in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Icyblue colour options.

The phone is now available for pre-order in the global markets. As for India, the launch event that was supposed to take place today in Delhi was cancelled due to India-Pakistan tensions. However, according to Flipkart and Amazon listings, the phone will be officially launched in India later today.

Update: Samsung has officially announced the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 1,09,999 for the 12GB/ 256GB variant, while the 12GB /512GB model will cost you Rs 1,21,999. As part of a special pre-order offer, customers can purchase the 512GB variant at the same price as the 256GB model.

Pre-orders are now live via the Samsung India e-store and Flipkart, with sales set to begin on May 27. It is offered in two colour options: Titanium Silver and Titanium Jet Black in the country.
